    Avec la 3D ce documentaires nous donne l'impression d'être dans un vaisseau spatial L'immersion est presque parfaite.Je regrette le fait que ce documentaire n'a pas pu passer en revue tout le système solaire, y compris notre étoile, les satellites des planètes sans oublier Pluton

    beaucoup moins bien pour la 3d que notre univers 3d notre systeme solaire plus connu que l'univers lointain et ce dernier me fait plus rever d'expedition lointaine et decouverte de forme de vie inconnue

    Bonjour, DVD 3D certainement très intéressant mais pourquoi en anglais ? Je ne l'ai pas acheté à cause de la barrière de la langue. Si une version Française fait son apparition, je n'hésiterai pas alors à le mettre dans le panier. Cordialement

    If you have a 3d smart tv, trust me this documentary is a must, it is highly educational to old and young and it is fantastic, and with the 3d quality on this its fantastic to educate kids with.

    Watched this tonight in 3D.

    3D experience :

    I thought the 3D was very good overall. I was surprised when reading reviews before buying this that some people thought the 3D was poor. It is mainly depth perception with a sprinkling of other 3D effects thrown in in places.And there where some repeated scenes but I thought that those scenes where worth watching more than once anyway.

    I really enjoyed the journey around space that this 3D experience offered and will definitely be one of the discs I recommend we watch when I show of my system to family and friends.

    The feature itself :

    Very well presented, engaging and informative. It doesn't go too deeply into any one subject and keeps it simple for all ages to enjoy. over all pretty entertaining and worth a watch.

    The price.

    For a 45 minute (approx) feature, it falls down pretty hard. 3D or not, this is not really worth the price. And the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

    7 Wonders of the Solar System is an attempt to use 3D to show some features of our solar system. Frankly I would have preferred a simple guide to the first 7 planets but instead items such as Enceladus, the asteroid belt and the giant Volcanoe on Mars are explored.

    The 3D is a hit and miss affair. Sometimes image depth is astounding and we are treated to deep shots of space that go way back behind the screen. At other times the 3D is so forced you struggle to focus, particularly on background objects that look clear and should be easy to see.

    James Cameron would no doubt say that this is due to using side by side Cameras with limited control over the stereo space. In layman's terms it results in images that are VERY difficult to focus on resulting in eye fatigue which is precisely what I experienced with this Bluray disk. For an example try focussing on the man and woman outside the observatory near the telescope and the problem is clear to see. The 3D is so forced that its hard work and it just should not be like this.

    Ghosting crops up around asteroids and Saturn too as well as the rather gimmicky space ship although again, the sense of depth on the external shot of the ship is very good indeed.

    Its not all bad by any means. There are some computer graphics that represent an digital instrument display that really pop out of the screen by several feet and some shots are very beautiful.

    The Sun at times looked good and at others was very hard work to focus on and looked like the pointed end of an egg poking out of the screen. At other times I simply could not focus on it at all.

    When all is said and done making 3D movies and programs is an art that at the present time very few people have the necessary skills to pull off. Any studio or broadcasting company wanting to do 3D could do a lot worse that to talk to Cameron-Pace and learn the do's and don'ts when shooting in 3D. They did after all spend years learning how to make a three plus hour movie that doesn't "rip your eyes out of your head".

    This 3D Bluray is 40 minutes long and by far THE most tiring 3D experience I have had to date. The production crew have a LOT to learn!

    Bought this film on 3D and it was fantastic CGI was amazing.

    Read some reviews that said it wasn't good they must have been watching a different film than the one I just watched.
