I earlier wrote a detailed review about this film for the German Blu-ray Edition. I just highlighted one of the most important findings, that this movie was made starring Sydney Sweeney. She is one of the most hyped and no doubt, strikingly beautiful young actresses. But in this production, we can see her in a serious role, in a single, everyday outfit, and with minimal makeup. The result is one of the most (positively) shocking performances that I have ever seen! Miss Sweeney is a genuine actor - all capital letters. This film is the evidence on it! In the end credits - in the special thanks session - we can see Kitty Green's name. Miss Green is a well known documentum film maker, who also made two feature movies "The Assistant" (2019), and "The Royal Hotel" (2023), both with Julia Garner's starring. The "REALITY" - directed and co-written by Tina Satter - is very close to these films. One hand by genre: young women who found themselves in an intolerable situation through no fault of their own, and on the other hand, the almost documentarian style of the making. Therefore we cannot watch big scale actions, but in return, we can see stunning acting, well written and thought-provoking dialogues. This French "Limited Edition" (BD+DVD) publishing of the movie is a gorgeous item itself! Eye-catching cover-art-work which was made in immaculate quality, supplemented with a 20 pages booklet. I already have the simple German BD edition of the film, but this French chef-d'oeuvre is an unmissable bargain! This item is simply obligatory to the fans of Sydney Sweeney, and strongly recommended to anyone who loves the real acting, the good stories, and the cinematic art.
